Italy and Slovenia

We were off to Italy this am at 6am. Arrived at 8 am met our guide Fabio, and headed to Slovenia shopping...awesome deals. Back to Italy for more shopping and lunch...Japanese. Went sight seeing downtown Trieste at the Adriatic Sea. Walked for hours and went to see the Castle here are some photos of what we saw.

On the road again...

Well, we headed off tothe airport again and went to pick up the rental car. Upon arriving at the Airport the rental car company had closed down! After panicking about my deposit! I quickly realized that I went through an agency and will get my deposit back. On ward...found a better deal! So for the same price and free gps we got a bigger and better vehicle. The drive to Opatija was good, speed on the hwy was 130 km and policy were easily going 150! A few tight spots and tunnels thru the mtn...10 of them at 110km with tight curves...wemade kt. Checked into the condo and we're off shopping and for a walk along the Adriatic sea....beautiful...will try to post a picture. Got our tickets and are off to Italy at 6am...Trieste, here we come!  We met Julian a crazy Italian gypsy who told us our fortunes, gave us gifts and was convinced that Renata was J-lo! And is in love with her and so on...time for an early night and awesome day tomorrow. I miss my babies..even the 15yo! Ttyl lots of love!

Nata's birthday dinner...

After a long day of shopping we went to Mom's friends house in the countryside. Then went for dinner to a place called Mali raj, food was great and the entertainment was awesome. They sang happy birthday to Nata and many more favorite and we'll known songs to our table while the whole place sang along...
